Janesville teen sentenced to probation on weapons charge

A 17-year-old Janesville boy will need to be on the straight and narrow after pleading guilty to several felony charges.  Rock County Judge Karl Hanson warned Jwan J. Lamon Thursday to get his anger issues under control. Lamon had originally been accused of sexual assault of a child under 16-years old, but prosecutors say the case couldn’t go to trial because the girl has since died. Lamon did plead guilty to being party to the theft of a firearm in the April 6th incident at the girl’s home. Lamon was sentenced to five-years probation as part of a plea agreement.
