A handful of non-partisan organizations in Beloit and Janesville team up to get voters up to speed on two local assembly district races.
Beloit League of Women Voters President Bette Carr says her group has partnered with the Janesville League of Women Voters, the Beloit NAACP chapter, Justice Overcoming Borders, Forward Janesville, and the Greater Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce to host a candidate forum Wednesday evening at 6:30 at Beloit City Hall.
Car says representing the 31st assembly district will be Republican incumbent Amy Loudenbeck and Democratic challenger Brittany Keyes, and representing the 45th assembly district will be Democratic incumbent Mark Spreitzer, and Libertarian challenger Reese Wood.
