The Green County Sheriff’s Office is warning area residents about a fugitive couple, considered an elevated risk to the public. The sheriff’s office says arrest warrants have been issued for 34-year-old Samuel R. Schutte of Monroe and 28-year-old Stephanie E. Retzlaff of Monona for crimes committed in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Authorities say the pair are wanted on suspicion of robbery, theft, and bail jumping. Green County officials say the two have evaded law enforcement officers in pursuits in both Dane and Milwaukee county.
