A 49-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Beloit Wednesday night.
Police say he was shot in the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue around 8:15 p.m. and transported to Mercy Hospital before being pronounced dead.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old Beloit man in connection with the shooting and no other suspects are being sought.
Beloit Police are still investigating the incident.
