A 35-year-old Beloit man is under arrest after an hours-long foot chase with the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
Detective Bureau Captain Todd Christiansen says deputies were dispatched to a report of a person going through vehicles on Britt Road around midnight.
Responding deputies were able to track the suspect through the snow into the City of Janesville using the help of a K-9.
The suspect was eventually apprehended with the help of the K-9, although he wasn’t injured because of his thick winter clothing.
The Sheriff’s office says some stolen property was recovered along the route the suspect took.
