A house in the town of Hanover is believed to be a total loss after a fire Thursday evening.
Orfordville Fire Chief Steve Ryan says the fire was reported just after 8:00 p.m. at a home on the 8400 block of West Front Street.
Ryan says a woman who was home at the time of the fire was rescued by a neighbor and transported to a Madison hospital for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
