Nursing students at Blackhawk Technical College have more access to scholarship money.
Mercyhealth donated $100,000 to the Nancy B. Parker Scholars Program in a special announcement Wednesday afternoon.
Blackhawk Technical College President Tracy Pierner accepted the check from Mercyhealth CEO Javon Bea.
The donation will go toward the Nancy B. Parker Scholars Program, which helps provide scholarships to nursing students.
BTC also unveiled a new naming of their top medical simulation room, in honor of Mercyhealth.
