A 57-year-old Beloit man takes a plea deal in a child pornography case.
Richard A. Bronge plead guilty in Rock County Court Wednesday to three counts of possession of child pornography. As part of the plea agreement two more counts of possession of child pornography were dismissed but read into record.
According to the criminal complaint, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation was investigating the sharing of child pornography in February of 2016 when he found that videos had been shared from the address where Bronge lived in Beloit.
The DCI continued to investigate the case for close to a year before they executed a search warrant on Bronge’s home in January of 2017.
Investigators found a number of child porn files on Bronge’s computer including a video of a toddler being victimized.
Bronge’s sentencing date has not been set yet.
