An evening traffic accident leads Janesville Police to the scene of a disturbance at a nearby trailer park where a victim was hit in the face with a hammer.
Janesville Police say officers were dispatched to a traffic accident with injury at Afton Road and Falling Creek Circle at around 9:30 Tuesday night.
A 26-year-old Beloit woman was found pinned in her vehicle and was transported to a Beloit hospital complaining of leg injuries.
Several occupants of the suspect vehicle got into another vehicle and left the scene only to be pulled over by officers a short time later. Four of those people were transported hospitals in Janesville. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a 16-year-old from Janesville, was arrested for operating while suspended, failure to yield right of away, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, battery, and disorderly conduct.
Officers learned the suspect vehicle had recently left a disturbance at a residence in Falling Creek Village where a female was struck in the mouth with a hammer.
Janesville Police arrested a 15-year-old for battery and disorderly conduct.
Other arrests include 28-year-old Samantha Guinter for disorderly conduct/domestic violence and criminal damage to property/domestic violence. 27-year-old Sergio Maciel (MA-see-EL) was arrested for OWI, disorderly conduct, and five warrants. 35-year-old Tasha Sanger was taken into custody for substantial battery, obstructing, and felony bail jumping. 22-year-old Jamaious Shoulders was arrested for a parole violation.
