The Rock County Salvation Army falls short of their funding goal.

Major Tom McDowell says they’re still about $75,000 short of their funding goal, which only pays for what they have budget for.

He says the shortage was caused by fewer mail-in donations, despite having a successful red kettle bell ringing campaign.

Now, the Salvation Army may have to trim down or cut some of its programs in Rock County.

McDowell hopes donations will continue to come in to help keep their services running at full capacity.
