scales-of-justice-2

A 43-year-old Franklin man is charged with killing two of his employees and burning their bodies on hunting land he leases in East Troy.
A news release says Mathew J. Neumann is charged in Milwaukee County Court with party to the crime of first degree reckless homicide, and party to the crime of hiding a corpse.
According to the criminal complaint, Neumann is accused of killing two men who work at his business – Spot Free Cleaning in Franklin. Both had been reported missing by their girlfriends.
Investigators think Neumann shot one man inside his truck on January 2nd and possibly killed the other inside his business on January 3rd or 4th.  Milwaukee Police found Neumann’s burned out truck with blood and bullet evidence inside and a cadaver dog alerted to four locations inside his business.
Neuman was observed on surveillance footage at a local store buying charcoal, and lighter fluid on two occasions on January 3rd and 4th.
A search warrant executed on Neumann’s Walworth County hunting land on January 10th and 11th turned up two bodies in a burn pit.
