A former Janesville woman who plead guilty to aggravated battery avoids prison time for a little bit longer.

30-year-old Arielle Landing was in Rock County Court for her sentencing hearing Wednesday, but her lawyer Jason Sanders raised a dispute over uncharged allegations in the pre-sentencing investigation.

Those claims are not public record, but Sanders and assistant district attorney Kate Buker briefly mentioned separate allegations involving a knife and a dispute over a man referred to as Mr. Weston.

According to the criminal complaint, Landing was fighting with a woman outside of Impact Confections in Janesville when she got in her SUV and intentionally ran over the victim.

Judge John Wood directed the two sides to work out the objection and a new sentencing was scheduled for February.
