Smack talk is already being exchanged ahead of the third annual “Guns N Hoses” charity hockey game between the Janesville police and fire departments.

Firefighter paramedic Justin Wiskie says the fire department won the first two matchups, but patrol officer Derek Mussey is confident in some of the police department’s new hires that have some real hockey experience.

A trophy and year-long bragging rights are up for grabs in Saturday’s game. The puck drops at 4:30 p.m. before the Janesville Jets take the ice at 7:00.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Vets Roll.
