A 32-year-old Beloit man is accused of passing out behind the wheel of his car while it was still in gear and then crashing into a house after police woke him up.
Janesville Police say officers responded to a report of a subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in traffic at the intersection of North Wright Road and Greenwood Drive just after 1:30 Monday morning.
Responding officers found that Mory A. Moore was passed out in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running and in drive. He had his foot on the brake and there was marijuana in plain view in the vehicle.
When officers woke Moore up he fled in the vehicle until he crashed into a house near the intersection of Castlemoor Drive and Huntinghome Drive in Janesville.
Moore was arrested on suspicion of OWI, fleeing an officer, obstructing, and a probation violation.
