A 20-year-old Janesville man is dead following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 51.
According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 51 and Kidder road near the town of Fulton.
The victim lost control of his vehicle as he reached the top of a hill and slid into oncoming traffic. He was hit by a 45-year-old Janesville man and died from injuries sustained in the crash.
After being closed for nearly three hours the road reopened around 9:45 Wednesday morning.
