The Beloit Shopko location joins the growing list of stores that are closing.
The Wisconsin-based company filed for bankruptcy protection last month.
According to Shopko’s restructuring website the Beloit store on Prairie Avenue will close on or around May 12th.
The Delavan Shopko store is also listed on the closure list with the estimated last day of operation on May 5th.
Shopko says excessive debt and ongoing competitive pressure are forcing it to seek protection from creditors.
The company plans to continue operating through Chapter 11 reorganization after securing $480 in financing.
