Janesville Innovation Inc. receives a $40,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Operations Manager Mike Mathews said the funding represents a significant portion of their budget.
The non-profit has been around since 2013 with the establishment of the Janesville Innovation Center.
They work with the Rock County Entrepreneurial Business Development Program to help support small businesses in the area.
Janesville Innovation Inc. sets up entrepreneurs with advice and access to services they need to keep their businesses growing, and Mathews said they’ve had a lot of success helping small businesses in the community.
