The Beloit Police Department says they’re investigating a report of sexual assault involving a teacher at Beloit Memorial High School.
According to a news release, 53-year-old Scott Abbott of Rockford was arrested Tuesday afternoon for sexual assualt of a child involving inappropriate touching.
The Rock County District Attorney’s office is reviewing the arrest and the investigation remains ongoing.
