A 24-year-old Madison woman who is accused of robbing a Janesville convenience store at gunpoint and threatening her accomplice’s pregnant girlfriend takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
According to the criminal complaint Rache T. Boyd robbed a Stop n Go in Janesville at gunpoint while 29-year-old Eric B. Fenne waited in his pregnant girlfriend’s car.
Police say the two returned to the Milton home where Fenne’s girlfriend was sleeping and had sex. When the girlfriend woke up and confronted the two, Fenne is accused of choking her and Boyd is accused of pointing a handgun at her.
The girlfriend eventually escaped the home at which point a six-hour standoff ensued between police and the two suspects.
Last week in Rock County Court Boyd plead guilty to party to the crime of armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon and an additional charged of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon was dismissed but read into record.
On the first count Boyd was sentenced to 10 years of probation. One the second count she was sentenced to five years in prison to be served concurrently to a sentence she’s already serving in a Dane County case.
Fenne plead guilty in January to party to armed robbery ,possession of a firearm by a felon, and strangulation. An additional charge of domestic abuse was dismissed but read in.
Fenne is scheduled to be sentenced March 28th.
