A Beloit business scores another job for the US Navy.
Fairbanks Morse has been awarded a contract to build and deliver the Emergency Diesel Generator sets for two future nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
These ships will be the US Navy’s third and fourth Gerald R. Ford class nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. Each E-D-G set provides mission critical, safety-related back-up electrical power in the event that the ship loses power.
