The owners of the Boardtracker Harley-Davidson dealership in Janesville are being sued for over $6 million by Harley-Davidson’s corporate financing company.
According to court documents, Harley-Davidson Credit Corporation is accusing Sarah and Eric Pomeroy of breaching their contract and committing fraud.
The complaint says the dealership was selling merchandise and holding onto the money instead of repaying loans from Harley.
The Pomeroys own a second dealership in New Berlin, which court records indicate they are planning to sell to focus on the Boardtracker in Janesville.
Harley tried to a temporary restraining order to prevent the dealerships from continuing to sell their financed bikes, but a federal judge blocked the request.
The suit will continue with a hearing scheduled for Tuesday in Madison.
