Police: Triple shooting in Beloit leaves one dead, two hospitalized

Beloit police are investigating a triple shooting that left one dead at the scene and sent two other victims to the hospital Monday night.
Police Chief David Zibolski says the shooting was reported just after 9:30 p.m in the area of Elm Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
Police say the shooting took place out in the street, and they do not have any suspects in custody.
They believe the individuals involved knew each other, and there is no present danger to the community.
Zibolski says a 15-year-old and a 25-year-old male were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers from the Town of Beloit, South Beloit and the Rock County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the situation.
