First Congregational Church and Muslim Dawa Circle in Janesville come together to honor the victims of the mosque shootings last week in Christchurch New Zealand.
Reverend Tanya Sadagopen says an event Tuesday evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church on South Jackson Street. where remarks will be given and the names of the known victims will be read.
Participants will then walk a few blocks to the Muslim Dawa Circle where the Christians will stand vigil while the Muslims answer the call to prayer.
