ECHO in Janesville is falling short of the funding they need for 2019.
Associate Director Jessica Locher says donations came in about $156,000 short of their budget, and funding from grants won’t cover it.
ECHO is asking for the public’s help so they don’t have to shut down some of their services.
They’re holding fundraisers in each of the next few months, including a “Swing Into Spring” dance on March 30 at the Pontiac Convention Center.
Locher says 98 cents out of every dollar donated goes to their local programs.
