The Janesville Police Department teams up with area law enforcement agencies to execute a prostitution sting operation.
Sergeant Mark Ratzloff says they placed an advertisement online offering sex acts for money. More than two dozen people responded, and three men showed up to the hotel where police were waiting.
46-year-old Keith W. Dabbs of Delevan, 35-year-old David J. Hanley of Janesville and 53-year-old Paul E. Rote of Janesville were all arrested and charged with misdemeanor pandering.
Dabbs was also held on felony parole violation.
Ratzloff says police have also reached out to the victims of human trafficking to offer resources to help them get out of their situation.
