Former Janesville man escapes from Milwaukee correctional facility

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections says a former Janesville man has escaped from a Milwaukee prison.
According to a news release, 27-year-old Trezelle J. Bishop was a minimum security inmate at Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center until he escaped.
Court records show he was convicted in Milwaukee County of misappropriating identification information to obtain money.
Bishop was sentenced in July of 2018 to two years of prison followed by two years of extended supervision.
His address in the court records is listed as 511 S. Crosby Ave. in Janesville.
The incident has been reported to the Milwaukee Police Department, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Anyone with information about Bishop’s whereabouts are asked to contact police.
