The Easter Bunny at the Janesville Mall apparently hasn’t had a very hoppy holy week.
Officials on the police scanner dispatched officers to 2500 Milton Avenue Thursday on the report of teenagers harassing the beloved holiday rabbit.
The dispatcher on the scanner said the mall security director reported a white male and female around 15-17 years old messing with the Easter Bunny “several times” over the course of “the last week or so.”
The mall security reportedly had not confronted the teens yet because “they usually run.”
Janesville mall security told WCLO they can’t comment any security matters.
Sergeant Dean Sukus also wouldn’t give a comment on the incident from the Janesville Police Department.
The scanner dispatcher gave no details on the type of harassment.
