Three Chicago residents arrested for passing counterfeit cash in Janesville

Three Chicago residents are arrested in Janesville after passing counterfeit cash at a local restaurant.
Janesville Police say officers were dispatch to Milio’s on Humes Road just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday on the report of two men passing phony $50 bills.
Officers located a suspect vehicle at a business next door and the driver told them the two suspects had fled to a nearby hotel.
In total, three people were taken into custody. 34-year-old Elijah C. Robinson was arrested on suspicion of uttering felony, attempted uttering, theft by deception, and a probation violation. 18-year-old Marquis D. Harris is accused of uttering felony, party to the crime of attempted uttering, theft by deception, and possession of THC. 26-year-old Janyah R. Dejareaux was arrested on an active warrant, and possession of THC.
