The construction on Interstate 39/90 will temporarily close two more portions of Janesville streets this week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will close Mt. Zion Avenue at the overpass bridge starting at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
On Deerfield Drive, the DOT is closing the right southbound lane for a full week, also starting Wednesday, to install new storm sewer pipe.
One lane of southbound traffic will be kept open.
Last week, the section of Milwaukee Street under the interstate was closed while crews took down one of the bridges, but that portion will remain open to all traffic while crews demolish the Mt. Zion bridge.
