A man is missing part of his right ear after a Brodhead woman is accused of biting it off outside of a Janesville residence.
35-year-old Nicole Perez is charged in Rock County Court with aggravated battery.
According to the criminal complaint, Perez and another man jumped the victim and proceeded to punch and kick him to the ground on May 31.
While on the ground, the complaint says Perez bit off roughly one-third of his right ear, which doctors were unable to reattach.
The victim told police he searched for the missing piece of his ear for several minutes before going to St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville for treatment.
Perez made her initial court appearance Tuesday, and she was released on a signature bond.
