The Beloit teen arrested after stealing a vehicle and a gun last week faces 7 felony charges in Rock County Court.
17-year-old Christian R. Kayser led officers on a chase through Beloit and Janesville last week that caused two accidents involving squad cars.
He’s charged with two counts of fleeing officers, burglary, theft, taking and driving a vehicle without consent, possession of a firearm by a delinquent felon and bail jumping.
Cash bond was set at $5,000 during his initial court appearance last week.
Court records show Kayser paid his bond on Friday and was later pulled over that day for speeding, operating while suspended and unsafe backing of a vehicle.
He’s due back in court Wednesday for an adjourned initial appearance.
