The School District of Beloit employee arrested for possession of child pornography has his bail set at $20,000.
45-year-old Aaron D. Weber made his initial appearance in Rock County Court Monday, officially charged with two counts of possession.
The criminal complaint says a Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation special agent executed a search warrant at Weber’s residence on Friday.
Weber told the special agent he downloaded child pornography because “he was curious about them.”
The complaint says he admitted to searching and downloading the images for “roughly five years.”
The School District of Beloit placed Weber on administrative leave on Friday and removed his access to their computer systems.
He was listed on the district’s website as an occupational therapist at Todd Elementary School.
