A 48-year-old Beloit man is accused of punching his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter in the head multiple times with a closed fist.
James Edward Jones Jr. is charged in Rock County Court with physical abuse of a child, domestic abuse, and disorderly conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, Beloit Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence on the 900 block of Euclid Avenue just before 4:00 p.m. on June 30th.
A woman told police that she had been arguing with Jones and it started to get physical when her 13-year-old intervened.
Jones is accused of punching the girl in the head about five times before fleeing on a bicycle.
