Beloit police receive a report of a drive-by shooting that hit a victim in the leg.
According to emergency radio communications, officers were dispatched around 5:45 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Division Street.
The gunshot wound victim was a 20-year-old male.
The only description a witness had of the vehicle was that it was a blue car that took off northbound on Division Street.
