Parent company of Boardtracker Harley-Davidson dealership files for bankruptcy

The business entity behind the Boardtracker Harley-Davidson in Janesville declares bankruptcy as the company look to sell.
Owners Eric and Sara Pomeroy and their business holdings are currently facing a lawsuit from Harley-Davidson Credit Corporation for allegedly committing fraud and breach of contract.
Boardtracker closed its doors back in April, and the Pomeroy’s other dealership in New Berlin ended day-to-day operations last week.
The dealerships are being marketed for sale, but the bankruptcy documents show a management agreement with Windy City Harley-Davidson, which became the country’s largest dealership group with more than a dozen locations in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The Pomeroys previously had a lined up to sell their New Berlin dealership to Oconomowoc-based Wisconsin Harley-Davidson, but it fell through at the end of May.
