A Beloit woman is facing multiple charges for posting videos on Facebook of her roommate having sex.
39-year-old Nicole Owens of Beloit is charged in Rock County Court zwith capturing an intimate representation without consent and knowingly publishing a private representation without consent.
According to the criminal complaint, Owens had cameras set up in her living room and recorded the victim having intercourse.
Owens told police she thought could put whatever she wanted on the internet, and she posted the videos because she was mad at the victim.
The complaint says she told an officer she didn’t know it was illegal and thought Facebook would remove it if it was illegal.
