Three injured in town of Beloit crash

Three people are injured in a single-vehicle crash in the town of Beloit over the weekend.
Town of Beloit Police say first responders were dispatched to the accident in the area of Saint Lawrence Avenue and South Paddock Road just before 11:30 Saturday night.
Investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Kevin E. Lugo of Beloit left the roadway and struck trees and a pole.
Lugo was transported to a local hospital with multiple injuries but is currently in stable condition.
One of Lugo’s passengers was flown to the hospital in a helicopter and underwent surgery for non-life threatening injuries.
A second passenger was also transported to the hospital and underwent surgery for non-life threatening injuries.
Although the investigation is ongoing, it’s believed alcohol and speed played a role in the crash.
