The City of Janesville will likely pay close to $7000 to settle a claim after a police squad car collided with another vehicle.
According to a memo to the City Council from Assistant City Attorney Tim Wellnitz, a Janesville Police patrol vehicle re-ended a vehicle driven by Kylah Wheeler on June 10th.
Wheeler claimed property damage and personal injuries as a result of the crash.
The City Council is expected to approve a settlement in the amount of $6,800 as part of their consent agenda at their regular meeting on Monday night.
