Janesville fire officials say it could have been much worse. The train was apparently stationary at the crossing on LaPrairie Town Hall Road, just South of County Highway O at about 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. Emergency response officials say it appears the vehicle’s operator simply drove into the train. One person was taken to the hospital, but officials say the injuries did not appear to be serious.
