As the legislature prepares for a new floor session next week, State Senator Janis Ringhand of Evansville doesn’t appear optimistic the body will make much progress. The Democrat predicts this will be one of the most “do-nothing” sessions. One example of the lack of progress is as the Governor nears the end of his first year in office, he still doesn’t have a complete cabinet. Ringhand says the senate could finish the confirmation process in as little as five-minutes, if brought forward for a vote.
