Portions of East Milwaukee Street and North Main Street in Janesville will be closed all day Wednesday.
Construction crews will bring in large equipment and concrete trucks to pour the new deck for the Milwaukee Street bridge.
East Milwaukee Street will close from Parker Drive to Main Street, and Main Street will close between East Milwaukee Street and Wall Street from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
No detour signs will be provided, and drivers will be forced to use alternate routes. Curbside parking will also be restricted during that time.
Janesville Transit System bus routes 4, 6 and 27 will be affected, and Bus Stop No. 319 will be temporarily closed.
