Beloit College will be host to former Vice President Dick Cheney for a speaking appearance next month.
The college conservative group Young Americans for Freedom is hosting the free, public event on October 10 in the Eaton Chapel.
The student organization said in a statement that Cheney’s experience in public services makes his perspective valuable to political discourse.
The Young Americans For Freedom chapter at Beloit College previously hosted Harvey Mansfield, John Ashcroft, Peter Berkowitz and Erik Prince, among others.
