The Janesville Woman’s Club is in the running for a share of $2 million in preservation funding from the annual Main Street America Partners in Preservation campaign.
President Anne Roe says the money would be life-changing for the non-profit with an operating budget of less than $40,000 a year.
Roe says citizens can help the Woman’s Club win a secondary prize of $50,000 by attending an open house and voting in person on October 3rd from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at 108 South Jackson Street.
Beginning Tuesday through October 29th, anyone can vote up to five times a day at VoteYourMainStreet.org.
