New Superintendent Dr. Stanley Munro reveals his plan to get the community involved in the future of the School District of Beloit.
He’s looking to form a 45-person revitalization task force to focus on increasing student achievement.
Dr. Munro told the school board Tuesday night the task force will be involved in the strategic planning process to develop strategies for sustainable improvement.
He declined to give many specific details, other than a desire for measurable benchmarks and goals for the community to support.
Dr. Munro said he plans to present the full plan for the task force at the next regular school board meeting in October.
