Beloit Health System has earned national recognition for efforts to engage hospitals in increasing organ, eye, and tissue donor registrations across the state, through the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign. Beloit Health System Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Sharon Cox says many people may not donate because of a lack of awareness. She says one donor can improve the lives of as many as fifty people. Beloit Health System has been recruiting hospitals to join the Workplace Partnership for Life Organ donation Campaign. With Beloit Health System’s help, this year’s Hospital Campaign efforts added more than 48-thousand organ donor registrations.
