Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is scheduled to join former Vice President Dick Cheney on stage at Beloit College for a public speaking appearance.
Cheney was invited to campus by the conservative student group Young Americans For Freedom, and the group is welcoming Walker to moderate the talk.
The student organization said in a statement that Cheney’s experience in public services makes his perspective valuable to political discourse.
The talk will take place Thursday, October 10 from 7:00-8:15 p.m. at the campus’ Eaton Chapel.
Last March, Young Americans For Freedom hosted Blackwater CEO Erik Prince for an event that was cancelled following significant student protest.
The conservative group said they’ve changed their security strategy to better manage potential protests.
