A 19-year-old Clinton man accused of shooting a woman during an altercation at the Village Terrace Mobile Home Park in February takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

According to online court records, Jesus Rangel-Silva plead guilty Thursday to a single count of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.

In exchange for Rangel-Silva’s plea, additional charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide, and two counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety were dismissed with prejudice.

The victim in the case was treated at a local hospital for a single gunshot wound and released the same day.

Sentencing is set for December 4th at 2:00 p.m.
