Beloit City Council member Kevin Leavy is appointed to the Rock County Board of Supervisors.
Leavy will replace District 13 supervisor Norvain Pleasant who resigned in July due to a personal matter.
District 13 includes wards 8, 13, 14 and 15 in the City of Beloit.
Leavy says he’ll keep his seat on the Beloit City Council, and plans to run for both offices in the April 2020 election.
