The Rock County owned Rock Haven Nursing home will soon be reviewed by a special Ad Hoc committee. The county board approved the plan (Thursday) night following concerns over poor health inspection results and escalating costs. The review will come in two phases. The first will review the workplace climate, culture, and practices at Rock Haven. The second will consider the range of potential opportunities to improve services to residents, which may include realigning current resources, collaborating with other organizations in a regional or public-private model, transferring ownership, or other options as identified by the committee.
