The Wisconsin Elections Commission is getting a jump on next year’s anticipated push to the polls. Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says a letter sent out this week is intended to remind some voters, who may have moved, to check their registration status. Tollefson says unlike before 2017, the Wisconsin Elections Commission may not be so quick to automatically remove voter’s registration if they don’t respond to this letter within a month. Voters who are sent the 2019 movers mailing will remain on the active poll list until after the April 2021 Spring Election. Tollefson says an easy way to learn more is online at MyVote.WI.gov.
